Michele Yamazaki

Michele Yamazaki is the VP of Marketing & Web Development Czarina for Toolfarm.com, a value added reseller of plug-ins and software. At Toolfarm, she juggles many roles, including marketing, developing content and training and answering support questions. She has taught seminars or demoed plug-ins for Apple, Boris FX, Red Giant and other companies at NAB, user groups and conferences. She is currently on the board of her local chapter of MCA-I and co-chairs the West Michigan Animation & Effects User Group, which she and Matt Schirado launched in 2002. Michele was previously a visual effects and motion graphics artist at Postworks, a post house in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was a contributing author of 'After Effects @ Work', and just wrapped up GreenScreen Made Easy, which was co-authored with Jeremy Hanke. She also taught Adobe After Effects at Kendall College of Art and Design for four years. She spends her spare time with her husband and daughter, Lily. She is an amateur chef, an aspiring screenwriter, a wannabe jet setter, and is involved with a local organic farm, trading web skills for vegetables. She is a huge indie music connoisseur recently launched MaxBumps.net, a music site for fans and artists. And, no, she's not Japanese.
